About ReadBurner

As Lifehacker describes it, ReadBurner, "turn[s] Google Reader sharing into an action similar to bookmarking a page on Del.icio.us or voting for an article on Digg." We think that this approach to social news makes sharing interesting stories easier than ever, and adds a new level of democracy and transparency in determining what's the most newsworthy.

ReadBurner was originally launched by Alexander Marktl, and acquired by Adam Ostrow and Drew Olanoff in March, 2008. The team now consists of Adam, Drew, Thomas Connors, Abner Diaz, and Alex. Our design was created by Gary Bacon of PixelTalent.
